Meet Marta, the maker behind Nikmini
Hi, I'm Marta — the owner, designer, and maker behind Nikmini, based in Schaumburg, Illinois.
I've loved arts and crafts for as long as I can remember, which naturally led me to a career as a graphic designer after earning my Bachelor's degree in Arts. I moved to the United States from Poland when I was 19.
Nikmini started with my own son. As a mom, I wanted to dress him in clothing that reflected our Polish heritage and language, but I couldn't find anything that felt both meaningful and well-designed. So I decided to create it myself — and Nikmini was born.
Today, I'm mom to two boys, and for over five years I've been designing and making personalized gifts and apparel for families like mine — pieces that celebrate who you are, where you come from, and the people you love.
Every item at Nikmini is made to order, right here in Schaumburg, with the same care I put into that very first design for my son.
